Privacy Policy
Plinth is a mobile game developed by gtfrexo, a sole proprietorship owned by Gavin Rose ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information is involved when you play Plinth or visit this website, and how it is used.
- We don't ask for or collect your name, email, contacts or precise location.
- Your scores, coins, unlocked items and settings are stored on your device.
- Ads are shown only when you choose to watch one. They are served by Google AdMob, which collects some device information to deliver them.
- We don't sell your personal information.
Information stored on your device
Plinth saves your game progress locally on your device: high scores and their dates, coins, purchased and selected cosmetic items, daily gift streak, and your sound and vibration settings. We do not receive this information. It is deleted if you clear the app's data or uninstall the game.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Plinth shows rewarded video ads, only when you tap a button to watch one (for example, to continue a run or earn extra coins). These ads are provided by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads and prevent fraud, AdMob may collect information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, device model and operating system, approximate location derived from your IP address, and how you interact with ads. Depending on your choices and your region, ads may be personalized.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be asked for your consent before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time in the game under Settings → Privacy options.
You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your device settings (on most Android devices: Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads). Learn more about how Google uses data in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
Google Play Games Services
Plinth uses Google Play Games Services for leaderboards and to save your progress to the cloud so it carries across your devices. When you use these features, Google processes your Play Games profile (such as your gamer name and avatar), your scores and your saved game data under the Google Privacy Policy. Leaderboard entries, including your gamer name, may be visible to other players depending on your Play Games visibility settings.
In-game currency
Coins in Plinth are earned by playing, claiming daily gifts or watching optional ads. They have no real-world value. Plinth does not currently offer purchases with real money.
This website
This website is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting. It uses no cookies, analytics or trackers. Like most web hosts, Firebase processes standard request information (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and keep the service secure.
Children
Plinth is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, contact us and we will help address it.
Your choices and rights
Because we don't hold personal information about you, most requests can be handled on your device: clear the app's data or uninstall Plinth to delete your local progress, and use your device's ad settings to control advertising. For data processed by Google, you can use the tools in your Google Account. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct or delete personal information; contact us and we will help.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the effective date above. Significant changes will also be noted in the game's update notes.
